Super Donkey Kong 2 Ver 1.0 / BizHawk-1.12.0 (Old BizHawk because it took a long time to make this TAS)
Cut an unnecessary team up cancel in 4-6 and did a camera manip on one of the ghost ropes in 5-1, saving a total of 118 frames.
Improved a throw in 7-B. I tried improving it in my last userfile but couldn't figure out how to resync the rest of the fight. 99% confident this will be my last update.
This is a ROM hack of Donkey Kong Country 2 in which every level has gone through a major overhaul. There are 7 worlds in the Any% run, but this WIP only goes up to the end of world 5. To view the movie, you need to use this patch (https://www.mediafire.com/file/0ljibmymthwqw9l/DKC2_Unveiled_EN.zip/file) on a DKC2 v1.0 ROM.
This lua displays position info, lag info, sprite info, hitbox, motion of other play. (Watch display sample http://nicolife.me/watch/sm28849016) If you want to display motion of other play, read Usage_of_ghost_function.txt in DKC2_distribution.zip. (Download from https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B65RNHv_mCpiaHNLQkVDSnE3ZlU/view?usp=sharing.) I tested with BizHawk-1.11.6 (Compatibility core).
Works for lsnes: http://tasvideos.org/Lsnes.html I tested the american and japanese versions of the game, v.1.0 and v.1.1. Probably works on PAL too. This is only a piece of the utility script that I'm creating (which is a mess yet). Support for BizHawk and maybe Snes9x-rr is coming. You can view offscreen sprites by increasing the lateral paddings of the emulator: Configure > Settings > Advanced > UI paddings You can draw only one tile area with left click.
Small improvement over this script. Now, the script shows everything correctly in fullscreen mode. The font doesn't look so good because of this issue. Tested on Donkey Kong Country 2 - Diddy's Kong Quest (G) (V1.0).smc
